Chaps Barbers, founded in 2000 by Paula Henry, has evolved into a beloved family-run business, with Paula's sons, Olli and Loui, playing active roles alongside her. Over the years, Chaps has built a strong team of skilled barbers, some of whom have been part of the family for nearly a decade. The barbershop prides itself on offering a full range of barbering services, including specialized semi-permanent hair replacement systems and expert hair loss advice.

Chaps Barbers is deeply committed to supporting the local community. The team has completed suicide awareness training to ensure they can provide vital advice and support to clients facing mental health challenges. At their Tottington, Brandlesholme, and Bacup locations, Chaps offers a peaceful, confidential space—known as the "quiet room"—where men can talk privately with their barber or simply find a calm environment away from the busy shop. The quiet rooms are also a safe, quiet space for clients with additional needs, including children who may find the hustle and bustle overwhelming.

Chaps Barbers is particularly well-known for their work with young clients, including newborns and nervous children, helping them feel comfortable and confident during their haircuts.
